About Us

Our Story

Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope was founded in 2014 by Robert and Nancy Gearhart in honor and memory of their daughter, Ansley Lynn.

After losing Ansley and walking through years of medical hardship with their son, Nancy and Robert understood the emotional and financial burden families carry during medical crisis. Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope was created to walk alongside families facing pediatric medical hardship, child loss, and uncertainty with compassion, practical support, prayer, and hope.

Finding Hope in the Rainbows.

Ansley’s story is the heart behind our mission — a reminder that even after unimaginable loss, hope can still be found.

That gives the logo meaning instead of it just sitting there visually.

How Hope Became a Mission

What began as a way to honor Ansley’s life has grown into a mission focused on walking alongside families facing pediatric medical hardship, grief, and uncertainty.

Over the years, Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope has provided practical support, encouragement, prayer, and hope to families navigating some of life’s hardest moments. Through both lived experience and compassionate outreach, we understand the emotional and financial burdens many families silently carry.

Nancy later shared her family’s story in Searching for Rainbows, a book written to encourage hurting families and remind them that hope can still be found even after unimaginable loss.

Our Mission

Ansley’s Rainbows of Hope supports families facing pediatric medical hardship, child loss, and critical illness through compassionate encouragement, practical assistance, and reminders that they are not alone.
