Do I qualify for assistance?

A.

We provide assistance to those who:

  1. Have a chronically ill or injured child receiving acute care at a hospital in Georgia at least 30 miles from their home or be a Georgia resident having to travel for their child to receive acute care.
  2. Are referred by a hospital staff member or the Ronald McDonald House
  3. Have a need.

How do I sign up for services?

A.

Talk with your case manager/social worker or nurse at the hospital, surgical scheduler, or the Ronald McDonald House manager. If they do not have our intake forms, have them contact us via our website, Facebook, email (nancy@ansleysrainbows.org) or phone (912.660.8309).

Is there a limit to how much assistance you provide?

A.

Yes. We have a cap of $1000 per family.

What kinds of assistance do you provide?

A.

We can assist with gift cards for gas to cover travel to and from the hospital, gift cards to the hospital cafeteria to cover meals, and lodging when the Ronald McDonald House is full. Other types of travel related expenses will be considered on an as needed basis.
